Black Raspberry Cobbler

Ingredients

  • 0.5 cup melted butter
  • 1.25 cups white sugar
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 0.75 cup milk
  • 1.5 teaspoons baking powder
  • 2.5 cups black raspberries

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
  2. Pour melted butter into an 11x7-inch baking dish.
  3. Mix 1 cup sugar, flour, milk, and baking powder together in a bowl. Pour on top of melted butter in the baking dish, making sure not to stir. Place raspberries on top of mixture, making sure not to stir. Top with remaining 1/4 cup sugar.
  4. Bake in the preheated oven until crust is browned and set, 30 to 40 minutes.
